Jim Nash of Seattle is an accomplished cyclist owning accomplished
road bikes, state-of-the-art recumbents and just about 'anything in
between'. In Jim's own words:
For my 59th birthday I treated myself to my first electric-assisted bicycle, an eZee Sprint.
Having cycled for 55 years and also having experienced nearly all available modes of transportation (Editor's note: As far as 'nearly' Jim was turned down for astronaut training) I find my beautiful eZee Sprint a most efficient, fun, comfortable and well balanced machine ever experienced—truly a marvel of engineering.
After riding in varying conditions in the Greater Seattle area I realized that I have found my Magic Carpet! I am definitely having more fun than anyone my age should be allowed. My thanks to the eZee creator! I can hardly stay off my Sprint. I have now logged 1,300 miles. Electric Bikes Northwest just tested my battery and found it has lost only 11% of its capacity.

We started importing Quandos in early 2006. These zippy folders are now ridden by Seattle commuters, by RVers and boaters, in upscale California developments, along the San Diego water front and on the steep hills of Colorado etc. The picture shows Don Higginbotham on his Quando. A successful, retired architect Don rode his Manotou mountain bike (designed by former son-in-law Doug Bradbury) for many years. Now along in years beyond what may be deduced from the youthful photo Don decided he 'needed a little help in biking in our Colorado Mountains' and states 'I particularly like the fact that I can pedal most of the time but can get an electric assist when necessary. The scenery from the eZee Quando is a joy.'
On a recent assignment filming 'Survivor 13' Chris Smith brought his Quando to the Cook Islands, where it made a huge splash. On an inter-island ferry ride the bike fell over board but was recovered. On his return Chris brought the bike to our shop. It turned out the Quando was undeterred by its involuntary plunge into the clear green South Pacific. After freeing up the chain and derailleur, replacing brake cables, a damaged throttle, some modest rust removal etc Chris and family are riding again. Another testimonial to the high quality and integration of the eZee brand, while not a suggestion that you go diving with yours.

"Just a note to celebrate my 200th mile on the Torq bike purchased from
you some days ago. It has proved a nearly perfect companion and has
allowed me to return to cycling on my own terms and set a reasonable
pace. Thanks, TC. I've enclosed a photo of my other major toy
a Vivat motor glider. This photo was taken at the Evergreen Airport,
Vancouver, WA. The crowd of interested onlookers is common." Whether the
Vivat or the Torq.
The customer later writes: “Just a quick note to let you know that your eZee Torq has just arrived
at its 2000 mile mark since its purchase in January of 2007. A friend
and I stopped to celebrate the milestone on the Olympic Discovery Trail
near Pt. Angeles Washington. The Torq has allowed me to accomplish this
despite some serious health concerns and has been an avenue to better
physical conditioning. Thanks for a great product, TC.”
