eZees models with 26" and 700c wheels surge swiftly, smoothly and comfortably up to the legal 20 mph limit legally allowed for an 'electric-assisted bicycle'.
eZees come fully accessorized: fenders, chain guard, rear rack, mirror, speedometer, bell and bright lights (powered by the propulsion battery).
In 2006 we commenced bringing eZees to the U.S. and are now going on four years with high owner satisfaction.

eZees first came with Li-Ion Manganese and in '08 with Li-Ion Polymer batteries of similar capacity.
When monitoring your eZee bike's LED state-of-charge gauge please be aware that:
The manganese battery drops to 'amber' only at about 80% DOD (depth of discharge) and to 'red' at about 95% DOD.
The polymer drops to 'amber' already at about 35% DOD and to 'red' at about 70% DOD.
(Of course under heavy draw the gauge may temporarily drop from 'green' to 'amber' even on a fully charged battery).
The eZee charger is smart (i.e. trickle charges, shuts off and floats), weighs 2 lb and measures about 2 x 4 x 7". It plugs in to 115 and 230 VAC. The battery may be opportunity charged any time regardless of level of charge, i.e. add a partial charge at any time. Charging a battery takes up to about 5 hours. Of course if you want your battery to last long do avoid completely draining it and avoid letting it sit drained.
