Briefly about the eZees
- Models weigh between 42 and 53 lbs plus battery.
- Quality bicycle components and great finish aluminum frames.
- Comfortable upright, 'see and be seen', adjustable (except Quando)
handle bars and stems.
- The Sprint, Forte and Torq accelerate smoothly and swiftly right up to
20 mph, i.e. the legal limit for "electric-assisted bicycle". Intro to
17 mph and Quando to 15 mph.
- The Sprint-7 step-thru and slope frame models come with throttle (twist
grip) speed control. The Sprint-7 slope model is optionally available as
pedal-activated (senses rotation only, not effort) and twist grip to
moderate power. The Torq comes with throttle (twist grip) speed control and is
optionally available as pedal-activated (senses rotation only, not
effort) but with a handle bar VPA dial (not twist grip) to moderate
power. The Forte-8 comes only as pedal-activated (senses rotation only, not
effort) with handle bar VPA dial (not twist grip) to moderate power.
The Quando and Carro come with throttle (twist grip) speed control only.
VPA dial
- Advanced 36V/250 or 350W brushless motor and controller technology,
except Intro incorporates a brushed motor.
The 350W eZee motor exceptionally combines both high torque for take-off
and hill climbing and top speed.
- Lockable, quick-release (seat flips forward for lift the battery
in/out), advanced technology, safe and proven 36 Volt batteries:
Lithium-Ion Manganese 10 AH/9 lb. (Intro model with 9 AH/12 lb Nickel Metal Hydride).
- Bikes pedal with relative ease even with the power off: The Sprint-7,
Forte-8 and Intro-3 incorporate ever-so-smooth internal Shimano hubs and
the Torq comes with an 8-speed derailleur. The Quando is single speed.
eZee Electric Bikes
eZee: Three Successful Years on the U.S. Market
eZee offers a selection of distinct and extensively equipped models. 36
Volt, 250 and 350 Watt motors. Lockable, quick-release battery:
Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) 36V/10AH/9lb or Nickel Metalhydride (NiMH)
36V/9AH/12lb. eZees perform with smooth, quiet power and swift
acceleration right up to the legal 20 mph (Quando folder to 15 and Carro
trike to 10 mph). Some models are offered with throttle control, others
with pedal-activation. eZee pedal-activation senses rotation only, i.e.
different from sensing torque (Giant Lite and Twist). Front fork (except
Quando) + seat post suspension. Polished or silver aluminum frames.
Puncture resistant tires. Come fully equipped with rack, fenders, chain
guard, state-of-charge gauge, built-in LED front and rear lights and
bicycle computer (except Quando).

No one should be allowed this much zippy fun. Folds 'instantly' as well.

v-brakes. Folds quickly with ease and precision (while resting firmly on
its dual stand) to 16" W x 34" L x 30" H. Front and rear lights. Rear

20" wheels with wide puncture-resistant tires. Provides a stable and
enjoyable ride with confidence inspiring braking (front V- and rear band
brakes). Your comfort and safety are assured with front fork suspension
plus a wide supportive seat with seat post suspension, raised/swept
handle bar on an adjustable stem, fenders, chain guard, bell,
state-of-charge gauge, bicycle computer and built-in LED front and rear
lights. The 350 Watt continuous (700W peak) front hub motor delivers
plenty of smooth, quiet power for hills. Power control by twist grip
throttle. 10 mph top speed. 7-speed Shimano internal rear hub with
differential gear makes for ease of pedalling with or without motor

allows the Carro to roll through standard doorways. The 12 lb NiMH

There is an eery emptiness to eZee USA's warehouses. And our stores are
seeing just about dwindled inventories. If you cannot pick up one of few
remaining bikes in one of our Seattle, WA and Oceanside, CA stores you
may want to get on a waiting list for when our next ship comes in (mid June).
Sales and Service
eZees can be test ridden, purchased and serviced in our Seattle, WA and
Oceanside, CA stores. The only model shipped is the Quando. Our Seattle
Service Center preps and ships it with FedEx and UPS throughout the 48
contiguous states: 'Just unpack, unfold and ride!'. Please see Pricing and

Li-Ion Charger
NiMH Charger
The eZee charger is smart (i.e. shuts itself off and trickle charges),
weighs 2 lb and measures 2 x 4 x 7". It works for 115 and 230 VAC. (The
same charger does not charge both Li-Iin and NiMH). The battery may be
opportunity charged any time regardless of level of charge. Charging a
fully depleted (which should be avoided if longevity is desired) battery
takes about 5 hours.
