Fourteen years of relative sameness perhaps were one selling and servicing a well established product. But challenging years when indulging in the quaint pursuit of hawking electric or human power augmented bikes and folding bikes.
The early years weathered evolving designs, service issues, an eclectic bunch of manufacturers and distributors as well as deflated sales expectations. Among early year brands we have enjoyed a continuous involvement with Giant. Our dealership decisively turned the corner in 2002 with the introduction of the highly accomplished and reliable-beyond-belief Giant Lite with NiMH batteries. While our paths diverged we got back in business with Currie in 2009.
In 2004 we opened Folding Bikes West. People are overwhelmingly amazed to learn what these intriguing folders uniquely offer the cyclist. Today we sell and service the full lines of Brompton, Dahon and Giant folders.
In 2004 we added the Giant SuedeE, in 2006 the eZee line, in 2008 the new Giant Twist and Schwinn lines, and in 2010 selected Currie iZip models.
While sales remain modest over all these years owner satisfaction for bikes sold and serviced by us has climbed gratifyingly. In the last few years just about all of our customers seem quite pleased with their purchases. Some of them even tell us so, thank you!

Shall a U.S. economy that can only get worse prove a detriment or opportunity for specialized bicycle sales? Be that as it may we hope to keep facilitating new electric bike customers with the elation of quietly surging down the road, agreeably cresting hills and arriving at their destinations crisp and presentable, having expended exactly the amount of joyful effort desired on the ride.
We hope to keep providing new customers with a broad selection of outstanding folding bikes, which ride fabulously, are easy to straddle, and fold small, crisply and quickly.
Our store strives to provide an unhurried, informative and enjoyable sales environment—albeit cluelessly devoid of creative marketing, confounding specials, canned sales talk, cheesy promotions and free trinkets.
